flu update
Josh is the best husband ever. He let me have the bed all to myself last night -- I lay there fighting the nausea, trying not to move or even breathe much. He went out and got me Jello and a comic book. Best. Ever.

In a fit of hubris, I had a little bit of toast soaked in chicken broth. Very exciting. Wish me luck.


I'm diggin' the fever thing right now. It's in that stage where everything is a little brighter than usual, you know? I've gone from being in a fairly bad mood to living in a candy-colored wonderland.

I was listening to Natalia Laforcade and thought, "This is the best song ever!" I started a mystery novel by Charlaine Harris and thought, "This is the best book ever!" When I looked out the window and thought, "That is the best squirrel ever!" I started to reassess things a little.

I don't know if that fever thing is really too much serotonin but yeah, I know what you mean with the bright/best/trippy feeling, in college I had to take some kind of exam like that once and I could NOT fucking shut up and everything was so funny, it was horrible, I'm sure the teacher thought I was high or something. it's nice when it breaks too, good luck :)
